The Ballroom is located within the Benjamin Franklin House at the corner of Ninth and Chestnut Streets. The entrance to the Ballroom is on the Ninth Street side of the building, between Sansom and Chestnut Streets.

There will not be transportation to the wedding. The venue is an easy walk or taxi from most places in downtown Philadelphia, or you can park at the venue (see next question for parking information). At the end of the evening, there will be a shuttle taking guests from the wedding to the Kimpton Hotel Monaco and Canopy by Hilton. The shuttle will make round-trips departing the Ballroom at 9:15 p.m., 10:15 p.m., 11:15 p.m., and 12:15 a.m.

While we encourage people not to drive, there is complimentary parking across the street from the Ballroom (on Ninth Street between Sansom and Chestnut), available one hour before the ceremony. For the welcome party, there is complimentary parking in the National Constitution Center's garage. The entrance is off Race Street between 6th and 5th Streets. Race Street is one-way; stay to the right when you cross 6th Street so you can make a right-hand turn into the garage before 5th Street. If you're using Google Maps, the address "540 Race Street" should get you where you need to go.

Black tie optional. Don't shy away from bright colors or glitz and glamor! If you've ever read etiquette rules saying that you should not wear anything attention-grabbing, ornate, or sexy to a wedding... we don't agree!

While we love your kids, this is an adults-only affair!

The ceremony and reception are both being held indoors at the Ballroom, so there is no need to worry about the weather.
